I expect that my lesson planning will become more efficient and innovative, allowing me to dedicate more time to direct student engagement. The ability to swiftly generate and customize resources will help me better meet the diverse needs of my students, fostering a more inclusive learning environment.

Moreover, incorporating design thinking principles will encourage a more iterative teaching approach, allowing me to continuously improve my methods based on student feedback and performance data.

One specific lesson idea that comes to mind is a unit on  the concept of global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity. I could use AI to generate a series of short readings about  the concept of global citizenship and appreciate cultural diversity tailored to a specific English proficiency level. Then, I could use AI to create listening exercises based on these readings, perhaps simulating news reports. 

For speaking practice, I could use AI to generate role-play scenarios related to global citizen activism or policy-making. Finally, I could create a writing assignment where students use AI-assisted tools to research and compose an essay on a global citizen topic of their choice.

Throughout this process, I would use AI to ensure that the lesson aligned with curriculum standards and incorporates target vocabulary and grammar structures. The design thinking approach would come into play as I iterate on this lesson plan, gathering feedback from peers and adapting it based on student responses.
